I have a big hyperfixation in videogames, playing for the first time with four/five years old with a PS2, specifically Bully and GTA. I have great hyperfixation in videogames, playing for the first time at four/five years old on a PS2, specifically GTA and Bully.

I'm also very fascinated by general computing, using a computer for the very first time also with five years old, and since then, I always live in front of my 'puter.

About the website

I started it circa june of 2025, and it was kinda untouched because I was busy. Anyways, I made it thinking of developing my HTML/CSS skills, have a hobby in my free time and freely express myself.

My interest in creating a website is old, starting in Carrd and stopping due to limitations. In 2025, I rediscovered Neocities (I knew it but I did'nt remembered it).

And here we are!

Website manifesto

Why make a website?

I've been an Internet user since I was a child. You can see some of my memories in my Nostalgia Shrine. I can say that I saw the Internet I know becoming more and more corporate and dead.
There's good articles out there about embracing the independent part of the Internet. Or also known as "Indie Web".

I've used Twitter (Won't be calling X in this website) for some time. I met a lot of cool and bad people. I was idiotic, though. But today I am stil a idiot, but a conscious one. But, truth be told, Twitter let me down a lot of times, too. I used to be in a social bubble, had an account thousand followers, but for what? I was an apolitical person that tried pleased anyone. I left this account in the beginning of 2021. Tried to get back in 2023, and 2024, but I couldn't keep an account more than six months (wow!).

I absolute despise Twitter's For You algorithm, but I couldn't break free from YouTube's algorithm for a while. Until I tried to deGoogle a bit (planning to do more in the future) and ditched it in favor of Invidious.

Oh, sorry, I went a bit far. But what I'm trying to say is I'm tired of algorithms and what you cannot do in the big corporated Internet. Sounds cliche, right?

But, really, answering the question now, I made this website because I still wanted a place to express myself. I don't know to do shit besides messing with HTML/CSS, I'm here for the love for the indie aspect of the web, bring joy to someone, help someone and show what I like. That's it.

As for you, reader, why you should make a website, even if you have nothing to show? Just be like me: show your most helpful tip you have, show the world what you love and hate, don't be limited to whatever social media wants you to be and create. Break free! It will open a whole world of possibilities and things to discover. Also, it's a cool hobby to maintain.

Why are your website like that?

Short answer: I don't know proper HTML/CSS to create the super dupe cool looking ass website. Long answer: I like that. I used to be a bit insecure about my current layout, but I realized that everyone has their own vision for what your cozy zone could be. It could be an old-school 90s, a minimalist looking, a maximalist looking...

For me, the content matters. But I also try to be good looking. Unfortunately, my website isn't totally responsive for mobile users. But, maybe one day, if I'm ready to break the laziness, I'll make it responsive.

Purple is my favorite color in case you didn't realized it, by the way.

Why neocities and not [x]?

I choose Neocities because of their ecosystem. I found out Nekoweb and other hostings afterwards, but I decided to stay in Neocities because it focuses more on the website building aspect than the social media aspect. As PetraPixel said in her site manifesto: "Followers and Likes exist, but their existence actually makes sense, and it's generally not a popularity contest".

I don't use the social feed too much, hence why comments are disabled in my site profile. Instead, I use atabook to receive comments, it allows anonymous commenting but you can block people in case of offensive commentary. Also, I will never ever have a chatbox. It's just too easy to spam things in there.

I don't think Nekoweb or any other alternative are worse than Neocities! They all have their pros and cons! Neocities itself, for example, doesn't allow free users to use external scripts, while Nekoweb allows it.

In the end, you are free to chose your host, and having alternatives to Neocities is always good.

You can join me too

Wanna make a website but don't know where to start? Don't worry! There's plenty of guides out there, but I really recomend this lovely guide by PetraPixel, it's aimed at total beginners.

I started here with only basic knowledge and I can say I'm an amateur now. Really, creating a website makes a whole lot of difference in your life.

Although, creating a website is not for everyone. It requires a lot of patience and dedication. It will be very frustating sometimes. But, in the end, it will be very rewarding.

That's it for now, I might update it later in the future.
